FAQ
Why choose stainless steel for an electric motor?
TENV motor relys on passive heat dissipation through heat transfer from copper windings to the motor frame via direct metal-to-metal contact.
When designing motors, Huifeng uses more materials to lower the temperature rise of the motors, allowing the motors to achieve thermal balance simply by dissipating heat on the surface of the frame.
What does "washdown duty motor" mean?
A washdown duty motor is a tough electric motor sealed tightly so it won’t break when it gets sprayed with water or chemicals during cleaning, especially in places like food factories.
Can I use these motors with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)?
Yes! Our motors are designed for Inverter Duty Operation:
Supports 4:1 Constant Torque (CT) and 10:1 Variable Torque (VT) speed ranges.
Smooth performance even at low/high speeds with a VFD.
Will the motor nameplate wear off?
No. Critical info (like model/rating) is laser marked directly onto the stainless steel housing. It won’t fade, peel, or rub off.
