What's the Cooling Principle of Huifeng's TENV Stainless Steel IP69K Motors
TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated) motors rely on passive heat dissipation through the motor’s external surfaces. Unlike TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) motors, they have no cooling fan or vents, making them ideal for dirty/wet environments.
How It Works
Internal Heat Transfer
Copper windings transfer heat to the frame via direct metal-to-metal contact.
External Heat Dissipation
The enlarged housing acts as a “heat sink” – heat radiates naturally to ambient air.
In Huifeng stainless steel motors:
→Stainless steel doesn’t conduct heat well. To keep our motors cooler, Huifeng uses the low losses electromagnetic design and excellent process that create less heat.
→ Lack of fan/fan cover eliminates dust traps, improving thermal uniformity.

How can the motor cooled down without a motor fan?
TENV motor relys on passive heat dissipation through heat transfer from copper windings to the motor frame via direct metal-to-metal contact.
When designing motors, Huifeng uses more materials to lower the temperature rise of the motors, allowing the motors to achieve thermal balance simply by dissipating heat on the surface of the frame.
