Huifeng’s NEMA 56 frame single phase fractional horsepower motor is a general purpose motor and designed according to NEMA MG.G:2016.
The motors includes single phase capacitor start motor and capacitor start and capacitor run motor.
Frame size is NEMA 56, housing material is rolled steel. The motor is equipped with a C flange, and a rigid or removable feet.
TEFC structure provides sufficient protection for the motor and is suitable for harsh environment, the motor can be used indoor and outdoor.

- NC series:
When the motor starts running, a phase difference is generated through the capacitor, forming a rotating magnetic field and bringing high starting torque.
After the speed reaches 75%, the centrifugal switch disconnects the starting winding and only the main winding runs.

- NL series:
A starting capacitor (electrolytic capacitor) to provide high starting torque.
Increase a running capacitor (metallized polypropylene capacitor) to continuously optimize the magnetic field phase, and improve motor efficiency and power factor.

How to choose capacitor start motor and capacitor start capacitor run motor?
If you need the motor with power ≤1hp, you can choose capacitor start motor, if you need the motor ≥1.5hp, you can choose capacitor start capacitor run motor.
