Huifeng’s high-performance NEMA 56 Frame AC induction motor is a single phase capacitor start motor, specifically designed for boat lift ( also called boat hoist).

• Flat plate boat lift and PWC hoist:

The motor is mounted on a flat plate by feet and has a pulley on the shaft. When the motor starts, the motor shaft drives the pulley, belt and gears, thereby raising and lowering the boat.

Since the motor usually is installed in a closed casing, so most of the motors use rolled steel casing and with spray-coated painting, the common IP degree is IP43.

• Direct drive boat lift ( A drive and E drive): 

The motor can be directly assembled with a gearbox, and the motor directly drives the gearbox to lift the boat.

Since motors are exposed to the air, there are higher requirements for the corrosion resistance of the motor casing and the protection level of the motor. Therefore, even though the rolled steel housing motor with powder spray painting is still popular in the market, motors with stainless steel shells are increasingly recognized by the market.

The motor housing and capacitor cover of Huifeng’s stainless steel shell motor are made of 304 stainless steel, all external screws are made of 304 material to achieve long-term anti-corrosion, to ensure excellent cost advantage for the motor, the front cover, rear cover and terminal box cover are made of aluminum.

Unlike the common stainless steel shell motors on the market, Huifeng pioneered the use of a larger conduit box structure, which is located at the motor tail, making wiring more convenient.

In order to solve the problem that the motor nameplate will age and be difficult to identify after a period of use, Huifeng’s motor nameplate is engraved on the housing, and the enlarged nameplate layout allows you to clearly identify the motor nameplate data after many years of use.

There are sealing rings at all coupling positions of the motor, so that the motor’s protection level is as high as IP69K, which can adapt to outdoor sea wave erosion.
